1945 | Rupert Mayer, S.J. dies (his feast is Nov 3, Blessed). He was in the pulpit celebrating Mass on the Feast of All Saints in St. Michael’s Church Munich, when he collapsed. He had been arrested, imprisoned for speaking out against Hitler. The Apostle of Munich. |
