| 1567 | Stanislaus Kostka leaves Vienna at dawn, to join the Society of Jesus in Germany and eventually enters in Rome. |
| 1654 | Eusebio Francis Kino is born in Italy. He was a missionary to California. 1868. Expulsion of the Society from Mexico and seizure of its property. |
| 1868 | The Society was expelled from Mexico and all its property confiscated. |
| 1944 | Yves de Montcheuil, S.J. dies. A theologian and chaplain, he was arrested while ministering to men of the resistance, and shot by Germans at Grenoble shortly before liberation. |
