| 2024 | The death of Fr Gerald ('Gerry') O’Collins SJ AC (ASL) in Melbourne at the age of 93. He had been a Jesuit for 74 years and a priest for 61 years. Theologian; author of over 70 books; Lecturer at the Gregorian (for 33 years) in Rome, and later for shorter periods at St Mary's University College in Twickenham, London, the Australian Catholic University, the Jesuit College of Spirituality and the University of Divinity in Melbourne. |
