1661 | At Watten, the death of Father Henry More, a grandson of St. Thomas More. He had been Provincial. |
1751 | Jean Pierre Caussade, S.J. dies. He is the supposed author of the famous Abandonment to Divine Providence. |
1848 | Two Austrian Jesuits arrive in Australia to begin our work there. 1860. The Irish Province was erected by Father Beckx, and the Australian Mission annexed to it. |
